Aberdeen residents will be invited to an open consultation evening on Wednesday, 30 September where they will be able to view the location options for Aberdeen's 50m pool and give their feedback.

On display at the meeting will be drawings by FaulknerBrowns Architects, who were appointed in July to head up the design team following the recruitment of leading construction consultancy Davis Langdon as project managers by the 50m Pool Project Board.


It is anticipated that the pool will be in the vicinity of the newly opened Aberdeen Sports Village.

Councillor Neil Fletcher, chair of the 50m Pool Board, said: "This is a great opportunity to make your voice heard. I would urge all local residents who have an interest in the 50 metre pool to attend this event to learn more about the project and to make their views known."

The consultation event at the Linksfield Centre on Regent Walk runs from 6pm until 9pm.
