A double glazing repair company has launched a new product to the conservatory roof market, Tec-Sun solar inserts for polycarbonate roofs.
Mautra's new product eliminates the glare of the sun by 80% and rejects 98% of the suns UV which reduces the heat in a conservatory during hot weather but also retains any heat during cold spells.
It is a totally maintenance free product no dust or insects trapped with no cleaning necessary unlike conservatory roof blinds and is usually about 50% cheaper.
It has a 10 year guarantee and comes in various colours to enhance your conservatory.
Most manufacturing companies are fitting Tec-Sun during fabrication of new conservatories but Mautra can assist all customers with existing conservatories, to make theirs a room you can use all year round.
A spokesperson said: "Within the vast Double Glazing Industry, repair and maintenance work is essential and we carry out a high standard of work within the domestic market.
"Common faults including broken glass units, hinges and handles, drafts and leaks to the more complex issues like door locks and conservatory roof repairs.
"We can repair uPVC, Hardwood and Aluminium frames. No matter how old your existing double glazing, most replacement parts can be sourced and repaired.
"There is no need to replace windows, just repair them. The winter weather in Scotland also helps keep our company going as the loss of energy through drafty and ill fitting windows can be very significant what with the high cost of energy bills," he explained.
Mautra is a family run double glazing repair business established in 2001 covering all of Central Scotland especially Ayrshire, Renfrewshire and Lanarkshire.
"All our repair work is quoted free of charge and is guaranteed for one year parts and labour or five years on all replacements double glazed units," he concluded.
