Alloa Town Centre Proposals On View

Some of the proposals which recently won Alloa £2 million to be spent on physical improvements in the town centre are on display.

The 'Imagine Alloa' display is on show in the former Travel Care shop on Alloa High Street. The shop will be open from 9 to 5 today for anyone to drop in and find out more.

Council Leader and Chair of Clackmannanshire Alliance Janet Cadenhead said: "We will be keeping local residents, business and visitors informed of all the developments.

"While there will be some disruption as we improve pavements, shop fronts, lighting and signage, we'll be staying in touch to make sure people know what to expect and are getting the improvements they want. We hope to hold several drop in sessions like this and to involve local people in some of the associated artistic and cultural regeneration."

As well as the Imagine Alloa display, there will also be information available about the Town Centre Business Improvement District and the new Forth Valley College campus.
