An Aberdeen housebuilder has turned film producer to put its prime development in the picture.
Potential homebuyers can now enjoy a personal viewing of the entire Ivy League location without moving from the comfort of their armchair – thanks to More Space In The City – The Movie.
And the initiative, believed to be a pioneering project for the North-east, is already proving a Box Office draw with househunters arriving on The Campus site, keen to see the set for themselves.
The production, just a click of the mouse away on CALA's website, is the idea of Andrea Joyce, CALA Homes North Sales and Marketing Director.
She said: "The Campus is a long-term project that is evolving over the six-year timespan of the development. We’ve been on site for three years and have a fantastic range of 39 different apartment styles with around half of the properties already occupied.
"More are regularly being released for sale and it’s such a beautiful green space, with mature trees and heritage buildings from the original College of Education campus, we wanted to let people see how attractive the development is and to let them wander through the site and have a peek in the show apartment, without having to leave the comfort of their own home.
"It's unusual for a development which is under construction to appear so spacious, established and mature and this is what we are trying to convey with the movie."
The film winds through the development at Hilton, past the pretty granite gatehouse and up by the former Hilton and Clifton Halls of Residences which have been beautifully restored and converted into granite townhouses.
It showcases the high spec apartments with balconies and sweeping bird’s eye views over the city to the sea, Girdleness Lighthouse and beyond.
The exclusive, enclosed development of 414 properties is a true mix of styles encompassing a charming village community. It includes impressive detached, family homes which are all already occupied, new build apartments with underground car parking, mews homes and cottage apartments.
