Stewart Milne Construction has been awarded a £2.5m contract to redevelop areas of the Kydd Building at the University of Abertay in Dundee.

The company, which has delivered successful contracts for the University in recent years, will remodel an existing floor space and re-clad the façade to create a modern, impressive frontage and entrance for the University’s Centre of Excellence for Computer Games Education.

"We are confident that the team will once again provide us with a new facility that reflects our status as world-leader in computer arts and computer games technology."

The project also provides the opportunity for SMC to work once again with Archial Architects who were also responsible for the Student Centre.
