The work will be carried out over the full width of the road extending from Kirn Brae to Alexandra Parade, continuing on the traffic lanes only to just north of the junction with Brandon Street and thirdly from the pedestrian crossing at the pier to the entrance to the Coal Pier car park.

The adjacent on street parking lanes along Alexandra Parade will be surfaced dressed in May/June.
Consultation with public transport operators, emergency services, Strathclyde Traffic Police and other interested parties will take place to minimise the unavoidable disruption to traffic resulting from major road works of this type. The work is expected to last around 10 weeks.
