Downtown Space, developer of Glasgow's newest property icon, The Hub at Pacific Quay, has today launched the development's website.
The site, www.hub-pq.com, designed by Glasgow firm Pod Creative Design Ltd, showcases the striking 65,000 sq ft property, which sits close to the new BBC Scotland and STV Group headquarters and is designed specifically for Scotland's rapidly emerging creative industry.
Offering flexible amounts of space from 127 sq ft upwards, as well as flexible leases that will suit both larger companies and individual operators, The Hub's ethos is all about building a 'seriously creative community' at the heart of the new Digital Media Quarter on the banks of the River Clyde.
Businesses can be up and running at The Hub within just 48 hours of signing a lease. An intranet will allow tenants to meet, interact, showcase their work and keep up to date with the activities of their fellow tenants, as well as book meeting space at other creative centres.
Having already agreed an impressive pre-let at The Hub - the Digital Design Studio - Downtown Space, in a joint venture with Helical Bar and in conjunction with Scottish Enterprise, has created a unique proposition for the city by recognising the potential of Scotland's burgeoning creative sector and developing an innovative, serviced property specifically designed for the industry.
Ian Robertson, Director at Downtown Space, said: "It's great news that we are now in a position to unveil our website and begin the process of showcasing The Hub. The website perfectly illustrates our vision, which is for a bespoke building designed for Scotland's renowned creative companies, situated in a location that ideally suits the sector."
