Highland Schools Pay Dividends For McTavish Ramsay

Dundee-based door and doorset specialist McTavish Ramsay is reaping the rewards from the £1m Highland Schools contract it completed earlier in the year.

Working in primary and secondary schools from Dingwall to the Isle of Skye, the firm supplied doors and doorsets for a range of different projects at a number of schools.

Gordon Urquhart, Sales Manager at McTavish Ramsay, said the two-year contract had helped the firm develop its relationship with the contractors involved.

He commented: "We worked closely with the contractors Morrison Construction and Tulloch Construction, now part of Rok. That experience has helped us forge closer links with these firms and we have generated valuable contacts with them."

He added: "We hope to develop these relationships even further into the future and continue to provide the high level of service and expertise that these firms are looking for in their varied building projects across the country."

Both of the construction firms have particularly strong links with the Inverness and Aberdeen areas where McTavish Ramsay is active in identifying market opportunities.

McTavish Ramsay has been in business for over 140 years and has developed an unrivalled specialism in the design and manufacture of doors and doorsets. It caters for projects across numerous sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, public and residential.
