Miller Developments has completed the construction of eight architecturally striking new office pavilions at Alba Business Park, marking a key addition to the commercial property offering in one of West Lothian's premier business locations.
Work on the bespoke Alba Business Pavilions, at Alba Business Park, in Livingston, took just 13 months from the granting of planning permission to completion.
The Pavilions development totals 31,500 square feet with high quality landscaping and fully flexible individual suites ranging in size from 1,720 sq ft to 8,8100 sq ft.
Depending on size requirements, occupiers have a choice of eight high-quality terraced, semi-detached or detached properties, set in three blocks around an attractive courtyard, which are available for sale or lease. Miller Developments has recognised the need for flexible accommodation in a difficult economic climate and is reacting to the demand with units available for sale or lease in a high quality environment.
Neil Finnie, Miller Developments, said: "Livingston's excellent transport links have helped make it a strong and growing strategic business hub for a number of years and I'm certain that these eight new pavilions will add to that appeal.
"The Pavillions are part of Alba Business Park, an established development which has attracted a wide variety of top name occupiers and is just minutes away from Livingston town centre. The existing tenant mix and quality of the units gives us confidence that there will be a strong demand for these attractive offices from both owner occupiers and tenants."
The Alba Business Park is situated in an attractive 95-acre parkland setting with water features, adjacent to Livingston town centre and just minutes from the M8 motorway. Companies located there include Scottish Water, Canon, NEC Computers and Plexus. The Park offers a wide range of facilities including a restaurant, lecture theatre and nursery on site, with a Bannatynes gym located directly adjacent to the park.
Planning permission for the two-storey pavilions development was granted in September 2007 with construction, undertaken by Ashleigh (Scotland) Limited, beginning quickly afterwards.
Alba Business Pavilions benefit from a permanently staffed, dedicated marketing suite on site. In addition, Jones Lang LaSalle and GVA Grimley are the marketing agents for Miller Developments.
