Aberdeen-based AVC Media Enterprises £3m business centre will be opened today by Geoff Runcie, Chief Executive for Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce.
The new four-storey building adds 1,530 square metres of additional space to AVC's Altens headquarters and provides the Aberdeen business community with a unique, modern purpose built conference and business meeting facility.
"The business centre is an essential part of our business's development," explained AVC Chairman and CEO, Keith Main.
"The new building has enabled us to expand our conference, meeting and training facilities as well as allowing us to cater for a larger corporate events and entertainment market - something which we didn't really have the space for previously. We can now host up to 180 delegates at any one time, providing high standards, quality service and technological excellence here at our Altens site.
"We will also be able to offer new services. AVC's location makes us accessible to all business professionals, coming into and leaving the city. This gives us the ideal opportunity to provide travelling delegates with a relaxed, modern working space, offering a fully equipped IT suite and high-definition video conferencing facilities."
In addition to AVC's conferencing facilities, the business centre creates additional working space for its staff, which now exceeds 90 people, and provides additional room for planned future developments.
AVC Media Enterprises is a fully integrated media and communications agency, combining Scotland’s top-rated corporate production house with quality brand development, graphic and web design, advertising, PR, 3D animation, e-learning and event solutions.
