Tony Roma's, the international restaurant chain, has confirmed it will open a venue at The Elements in Livingston, Land Securities' new £130m shopping centre.
With over 260 locations on five continents, Tony Roma's specialises in flame-grilled ribs, steaks, chicken and seafood, attributing its success to its top secret cooking processes which seal in the smoked flavour, as well as using only premium rack cuts to ensure they are tender and meaty.
Tony Roma's will occupy a 5,748 sq ft restaurant at 302/303 Almondvale South, The Elements, Livingston.
David Smith, Leasing Director, Land Securities, said: "It is with great pleasure that we welcome yet another international brand to The Elements which will boast a superb catering offering. Tony Roma's will join a host of other top restaurants including Nando's, ASK, Chiquito and Wagamama so diners will be spoiled for choice."
Tony Roma's UK Managing Director, Peter Sakal, said: "We are delighted to be opening our second Tony Roma's in Scotland at The Elements. The development is very impressive and we look forward to bringing our unique brand to Livingston. Our first Scottish opening at Braehead has traded exceptionally well and we have every confidence that The Elements will be just as successful for Tony Roma's."
The 375,000 sq ft shopping centre will open its doors on October 16, 2008. From this date, The Elements and the adjoining Almondvale Shopping Centre will be known by the new name "The Centre". The rebrand is designed to reflect Livingston’s exciting transformation - The Centre will form one spectacular retail destination with almost 1 million sq ft of retail space featuring 155 shops.
