Robertson recently joined Angus Council to recognise the outstanding achievements of local school children in sports and arts.
The annual Angus Young Achievers Awards, staged at the Webster Theatre in Arbroath, celebrated the success of over 230 pupils who have been placed in the first three in a national competition or represented their country.
Robertson chose to sponsor the showcase event in support of its role as main developer in Angus Council's £50m schools re-building programme.
The building project throughout Forar and Carnoustie is being delivered by three Robertson businesses - Robertson Capital Projects as overall project manager and investor, Robertson Eastern which will deliver the design and build contract and Robertson Facilities Management which will provide a range of hard and soft facilities management services throughout the 30-year project duration.
The first phase of the scheme has already delivered four new primary schools and the second phase is well underway which will see the development of a further two primary schools and the major re-development of Carnoustie High School. The works are expected to be completed by Spring 2009.
Robertson Executive Chairman Bill Robertson said: "As the main developer for Angus Council's schools re-building programme we are delighted to be part of the community and support worthy causes in the local area.
"We are therefore pleased to support this special event which recognises the outstanding achievements of school pupils throughout the area."
