Miller Construction has appointed Bob Batty to the position of Associate Director for Major Projects.
Bob joins the leading construction firm from Skanska, where he was Bid Director for over two years, prior to which he spent 12 years with Bovis Lend Lease as Operations Manager. In both roles, Bob was responsible for project bids and business development for Major Projects, working extensively within the education, defence, transport and healthcare sectors.
With over 36 years' experience in the Scottish construction industry, Bob, who is a qualified Civil Engineer, brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise. In his new role, Bob will oversee projects from bid to completion and will support the business development team with a focus on developing new markets, as well as furthering partnering arrangements.
