Sandown Project To Go-Ahead
Deveron Highland and partner Servite Housing Association plan to begin work on the £100m housing scheme at Sandown on the outskirts of Nairn next year.Despite the downturn in the housing market Deveron Highland have spoke of their commitment to the 550 home project.

Company spokesman Mark Cummings said: "We have no concerns in terms of this development in current market conditions. Quite the reverse, we are very positive about it."
Mr Cummings said Dundee-based Servite will help provide 138 affordable homes element of the development.
He added: "It is sad news local companies are having to cut back. We want to give the message to people locally we are very much committed to the project in Nairn."
