Architects and historic building consultants, Purcell Miller Tritton, are to continue their UK expansion programme and have announced the opening of a new Edinburgh office.

Located on the first floor of a Grade B listed Georgian town house in the heart of Edinburgh's West End, Rutland Square, the new office incorporates former employee Jonathan Gotelee's architectural practice. It comes about as a result of continuing growth and demand for their services in the Scotland Region.


Forthcoming work in the area includes several private residential projects, industrial assignments and new developments in the hospitality sector. However, Purcell Miller Tritton's main objective is to further expand the practice into areas that can complement their heritage and historic buildings expertise and to aim for other markets where they have substantial experience, such as cultural and educational buildings.

Jonathon Gotelee, Associate at Purcell Miller Tritton said: "We want to develop recognition of our wide range of experience to complement our acknowledged successful track record with historic buildings, including those built in the 20th century. Therefore, with recent new offices opening in the West Country and now in Scotland, both areas of the UK where we have not previously been able to provide a service, it is a tremendously exciting time for the practice."
