Frank Malcolm has joined J&E Shepherd Chartered Surveyors to head the building surveying department.

He said: "I am delighted to be joining a firm of Shepherd's stature at a time of growth within the organisation. As a chartered building surveyor I am looking forward to working closely with the commercial surveyors to complement the services already offered by the firm.
"Having been born in Edinburgh and raised on the East Coast of Scotland, this was an opportunity that I could not refuse and will allow me to strengthen my presence in the East and across the Central Belt."
Graeme McDonald, overall Head of Building Surveying for J&E Shepherd, said: "We are delighted to welcome Frank to the firm and know that he will be a tremendous asset to our expanding Building Surveying Department. Frank comes to the firm with a wealth of experience in commercial building surveying, which we are sure will drive forward this expanding side of the business.
"Frank will head up our Edinburgh building surveying department servicing our Edinburgh and central belt offices.
"His appointment highlights the importance building surveying represents within the firm and means that Shepherd's now has a building surveying presence in each of our city offices."
