DM Hall LLP chartered surveyors have opened a new office in a prime site in Dundee to make the most of its expanding business interests in the city.
The firm, which has offices located throughout the length and breadth of Scotland, moved from its South Tay Street offices to a custom-built office with 50% more floor space in a new development at City Quay.
The new address is Shed 26, Unit 34 City Quay, Camperdown Street, Dundee DD1 3JA.
DM Hall LLP will also increase the number of staff in the Dundee office dedicated to commercial work, reflecting the growing importance of commercial property related business in the area.
Partner Gordon Croft, who heads up the Dundee operation, said: "It's a move which, quite simply, enables us to serve our clients better while at the same time making us more accessible to them.
"The addition of a commercial department is also a logical and welcome step, and reflects the sustained growth we are seeing in city property."
Jim Honeyman, associate at the Dundee office, said: "There are plans to expand the Overgate retail complex, and the City Quay retail scheme is being transformed into a 21st century office development. There is great activity in the student accommodation sector with private finance creating new developments in the city centre.
"The council is also encouraging new development at the north west end of the city, in the Liff area, whereas previously most development had taken place in the north east."
He added: "It is a very exciting time to be involved in a vibrant city such as Dundee and we are looking forward to providing the first rate professional services which will help maintain the momentum on this welcome expansion."
