Floorstyle 08 has announced its Seminar and Events line-up for its launch exhibition, taking place at ExCeL next month (29 June to 1 July).
Speakers taking the podium during the three-day event include leading manufacturers Amtico, Kährs and Bonakemi, alongside the FSC and marketing expert, Leo Aspden. Meanwhile, Floorstyle 08's Demonstration Zone will host practical demonstrations from Bonakemi, Grant Westfield, Janser, Karndean, Leica Geosystems, Sika and Werkmaster.
Sponsored by Amtico, Floorstyle 08's Seminar Programme will include a wealth of inspirational content, combined with hot industry topics; the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) will discuss 'Beautiful floors, beautiful forests', and how to ensure that timber is sourced from properly managed forests.
Amtico will examine trends within the flooring industry and Kährs will explore 'The development of the engineered wood floor and the eco-benefits of Kährs construction', whilst Bonakemi's presentation will focus on the specification of finishes and maintenance regimes for wooden floors. Meanwhile, marketing expert, Leo Aspden will explore the power that marketing can bring to any business - small, medium or large.
Other show highlights include 'Test the Experts', sponsored by Contract Flooring Journal. Demonstrating how experts tackle various tricky situations, renowned expert floorlayers John Roberts and Steve Ramsden will be set the challenge of transforming a room into an eye-catching installation showpiece, in front of the live audience, with regular question and answer sessions.
