Architectural and engineering practice Pick Everard have announced the appointment of three new Partners - Andrew Almond, Alastair Hamilton and David Nisbet. All three were previously Directors at Pick Everard.
Andrew Almond, a Chartered Architect who studied at DeMontfort University, joined Pick Everard in 1992 and has been Project Architect on many large developments for clients including J Sainsbury, MOD, Crown Property Services, Midland Bank, British Gas, Cambridge Water, Porcelanosa, Alliance and Leicester and Leicester Race Course. More recently Andrew has been key account manager for Porcelanosa and local authority frameworks and jointly responsible for developing education sector work within the practice.
Chartered Quantity Surveyor Alastair J Hamilton joined Pick Everard in 1986 and has wide experience of general Quantity Surveying practice, Project Management and Audit & Facilities Management consultancy services, providing advice to both private and public sector clients in commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, defence, leisure and residential sectors. He has taken a leading role in providing strategic advice about property and facilities management and in the successful procurement and management of new national and regional service and maintenance contracts for a number of blue-chip clients. Alastair is currently managing and developing work under a framework contract with the Office of Government Commerce which enables Pick Everard to provide a broad range of Technical Assurance Services in the public sector.
Chartered Architect David M Nisbet joined Pick Everard in 1991. David's experience includes managing design teams on large construction projects for new buildings and major refurbishments. David is currently managing and developing the practice's custodial work under alliance agreements for the Prison Service with major national contractors. Current projects include innovative pre-fabricated and environmentally sustainable solutions within developments at HMP High Down, HMP Lewes and HMP Norwich among others.
