The JR Group has been appointed to Home Group Scotland's Development Contractors Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) Scotland framework.
This appointment secures the firm's participation in delivering housing projects over the next four years.
The award-winning company has been named an approved contractor for both Lot 1, covering projects up to 40 units, and Lot 2, for projects exceeding 40 units.
Home Group Scotland sought qualified and experienced construction partners for their DPS framework, which runs until 2029. Contractors on the framework will undertake development projects involving demolition, new build, and regeneration, potentially including conversion and refurbishment work.
The projects are expected to be located across central Scotland, with key development areas including Dundee, West Lothian, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
Andrew Dallas, Projects Director for The JR Group, said: "Meeting the requirements for these frameworks is an incredibly stringent and vigorous process, so the success for us on both Lots 1 and 2 is testament to the high quality, innovation and professionalism we were able to demonstrate to Home Group Scotland. We know and understand the needs of the Scottish affordable housing sector, so it is a fantastic achievement for us to put this expertise to good use for Home Group Scotland over the next four years."
Bryony Willett, Director of Scotland at Home Group Scotland, said: "We are committed to providing the right homes in the right places and to achieve this we must work collaboratively with high quality contractors. We look forward to continuing our relationship with The JR Group beyond the current development on site in Edinburgh."
The JR Group is currently working on a project for Home Group Scotland at the former Royal Sick Kids Hospital site in Edinburgh, delivering 31 homes, including 20 for social rent and 11 for mid-market rental. This project is expected to be completed later this year.
Dallas added: "Projects such as the site at the former Royal Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh has helped us to really demonstrate the quality of our work to Home Group Scotland. The award will mean we can undertake larger projects, ensuring more of Scotland's new and upgraded affordable homes are created to our exacting standards. With Scotland in urgent need of more housing, we are delighted to be able to help bring more homes to life through the framework and look forward to completing projects over the next four years."
The JR Group is also an approved contractor on other frameworks, including Scotland Excel, Link Group, and Wheatley.
