The JR Group has seen three of its developments shortlisted for this year’s prestigious Homes for Scotland Awards.
The leading building and construction firm has been recognised across two categories: Affordable Development of the Year (medium) and Affordable Development of the Year (small).
The shortlisted developments include Upper Achintore (Phase 1) in Fort William, a project delivered in partnership with Link Group, which will compete in the Affordable Development of the Year (medium) category. This development of 82 energy-efficient homes has previously been praised for its contribution to growing and sustaining rural communities in the Highlands.
Two Stirling-based developments, Glasgow Road and McQueen Way, have both been shortlisted in the Affordable Development of the Year (small, up to 35 homes) category.
Andrew Dallas, Projects Director for The JR Group, expressed his delight at the triple shortlisting: "We are absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted in this year’s Homes for Scotland Awards for not one, but three key developments – all of which we are incredibly proud of."
He added: "As a member of Homes for Scotland, we strive to positively contribute to Scotland’s social and economic growth, through our delivery of social housing developments across the country. These awards really showcase the varied work of the membership, and we are delighted to be recognised amongst the best in the business. We very much look forward to the awards lunch and to finding out the winners across the board."
The shortlistings highlight The JR Group's commitment to delivering high-quality affordable housing and contributing to the social and economic landscape of Scotland.
