Aberdeenshire Council is actively marketing a diverse portfolio of vacant properties for sale or lease, including former libraries, town halls, offices, and commercial sites, across the region.
The council, managing over 500 sites and units in 41 business locations, is seeking to attract buyers and tenants for properties from Ellon to Laurencekirk and Macduff to Huntly.
The opening of Formartine House in Ellon has freed up several town centre sites, including the former Ellon Library on Station Road, a 398sqm building offered at over £185,000. Additionally, two office premises in Ellon are available: the former Health and Social Care Partnership office and vacant offices on Schoolhill Road.
Other notable properties include Macduff Town Hall, Cairnbanno Community Centre, the former Drumoak Primary School site, and vacant plots at Peterhead’s Balmoor Industrial Estate.
Allan Whyte, Head of council Property and Facilities Management, said, "As the largest single provider of business land and premises in Aberdeenshire, we can offer a range of premises to accommodate a number of commercial operations."
He highlighted the diverse opportunities available, from office leases to industrial units and redevelopment projects, and encouraged interested parties to contact the council.
A full list of available properties can be found at www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/business/available-property.
