Arc-Tech (Scotland) has confirmed its 2025 intake of three new Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) trade apprentices, continuing its commitment to developing skilled workers.

The Glasgow-based company, which designs and installs Mechanical, Electrical, and Renewable solutions, has maintained its apprenticeship program since its establishment in 2016.

"We have always recognised the value of skills replenishment, and we are extremely proud to continue our trade apprentice intake for another year," said John Gallacher, Managing Director of Arc-Tech (Scotland). "The sector is currently facing challenges, including a skills shortage, so it is imperative that we continue to invest in young people and future talent."


The three new apprentices will be trained in electrical, heating engineering, and plumbing trades, undertaking a three to four-year program combining practical experience with college-based theory.

Current apprentices, Lewis and Ross, shared their positive experiences. Lewis highlighted the rewarding nature of the apprenticeship, while Ross expressed interest in future managerial roles.

Arc-Tech's announcement coincides with Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2025.
