Glasgow has secured a three-year extension for All-Energy, the UK's largest clean energy exhibition and conference, at the SEC Glasgow, solidifying the city's position as a leader in renewable energy and low-carbon innovation.
Owned and organised by RX, All-Energy will continue to bring together key players from the renewables sector in Glasgow until at least 2027. This year marks a decade since the event relocated to Glasgow, coinciding with the SEC's 40th anniversary. The 2025 edition will also align with Glasgow Climate Week.
Since its move to Glasgow in 2015, All-Energy has become a vital platform for knowledge exchange, business development, and policy discussion. The 2024 event broke attendance records, attracting nearly 12,000 attendees from around the world.
"All-Energy has become a cherished event in Glasgow's calendar, delivering significant economic and reputational benefits to the city," said Councillor Susan Aitken, Leader of Glasgow City Council. "Its alignment with our net-zero ambitions and Glasgow Climate Week underscores our shared commitment to a sustainable future. We are proud to continue hosting this world-class event, which showcases Glasgow's leadership in renewable energy and low-carbon innovation.”
The Glasgow Chamber of Commerce adjusted Glasgow Climate Week in 2024 to coincide with All-Energy, a collaboration that will continue in 2025.
"Glasgow has long been a supporter of All-Energy, recognising its immense value to the city's economy and its role in advancing the global clean energy agenda," said Dr Stuart Patrick, Chief Executive of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.
"Our ongoing partnership with SEC Glasgow has been instrumental in ensuring our ability to continue to deliver a world-class event that drives the clean energy agenda forward," said Gareth Rapley, RX's Portfolio Director for Energy and Marine.
"It's fantastic to see All-Energy continue its journey in Glasgow, especially in this milestone year for SEC," said Dan Thurlow, Head of Exhibitions at SEC. "Over the past decade, the event has become a cornerstone of the renewables calendar, and we're incredibly proud to host it for another three years."
