The Lost Shore Surf Resort has won the Architectural Excellence Award (Public Use) at the 2025 Scottish Property Awards. The resort, which opened in 2024, is a leading tourist destination in Scotland, featuring Europe's largest wave pool, various food and retail outlets, luxury lodges, camping pods, a SurfSkate facility, and wellness treatments.
Arc-Tech (Scotland) supported the project with a £6 million Mechanical & Electrical Services package on behalf of Malcolm Group. Their work included installing an innovative air-source heat pump farm, comprising three industrial-scale pumps, a water storage and booster system, solar PV panels, and 41 EV charging points.
The award recognised the HUB buildings located around the resort. Arc-Tech congratulated the winners, HarrisonStevens + Tartan Leisure.
