Two groundbreaking projects have been shortlisted for the coveted Net Zero Development of the Year award at the 2025 Scottish Property Awards.

The D2 Grids project, a pioneering collaboration with FES Group, has made history as Scotland’s first and only 5th generation district heating and cooling network. This innovative system aims to significantly reduce carbon emissions, providing a more sustainable, energy-efficient solution for local businesses and communities while enhancing energy resilience.


Meanwhile, Clyde Gateway East, a trailblazing urban regeneration initiative, is setting new standards for net-zero development. Designed by 3D Reid and built by Heron Bros, the project incorporates low-carbon energy solutions, district heating networks, and a focus on active travel. It is a key element of Scotland’s transition to a Green Regeneration & Innovation District, the first of its kind in the country.

Both projects are now in the running for one of the most prestigious recognitions in the Scottish property sector, highlighting their significant contributions to sustainable urban development and Scotland's net-zero goals.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday, 20th February 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.
