Loreburn Housing Association has announced a new pilot programme to improve the energy efficiency of some of its properties.
The initiative, delivered in collaboration with Clyde Net Zero and City Energy Network, will see the installation of energy-saving measures such as insulation upgrades, air source heat pumps, and solar panels in a selection of homes.
"This pilot marks an important step in our efforts to create energy-efficient, sustainable homes for our tenants," said Kirsteen, CEO of Loreburn Housing Association. "By prioritising the homes that need it most, we can make a real difference in both energy efficiency and affordability."
The project aims to reduce energy consumption and lower energy bills for tenants while also contributing to environmental sustainability goals.
"Pending a successful pilot, we anticipate rolling out additional energy efficiency measures over the next two years, further reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and tenant wellbeing," added Kirsteen.
