Clark Contracts has completed the construction of a new Sky VIP lounge at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.

The project involved the construction of the base build for the lounge, which spans around a third of the perimeter of the Hydro bowl.

"We are delighted to have completed a 3rd project within this iconic venue," said Gerry Cummins, Director at Clark Contracts. "The new Sky lounge provides a modern and luxurious space for Sky customers. This project has been a true partnership with SEC and the consultant team of Holmes Miller, Arup and Gardiner and Theobald. We look forward to collaborating with the team on future projects within the venue."

The new lounge features a dedicated entrance and customer check-in, as well as a private area for guests to relax and enjoy refreshments before shows.

"The Sky VIP lounge construction has been a highly complex and technically demanding project due to its location within the arena bowl and the need to schedule works around our packed event calendar," said Ross Easton, Head of Commercial at Scottish Event Campus. "Clark Contracts have once again proven to be an exceptional partner, collaborating seamlessly with our project team and Sky to bring this ambitious vision to life."

This is the third project that Clark Contracts has completed at the OVO Hydro, having previously constructed the Clubhouse bar and balcony, and one of the venue's Super Suites.
