Eligible projects include new industrial facilities, manufacturing and automation of equipment, installation, and upgrades to existing industry infrastructure, including digital infrastructure.

The fund is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Moray that are looking to transition into low carbon energy markets.

Administered by ETZ Ltd with support from the Scottish Government's Just Transition Fund, the Challenge Fund is now accepting applications until Friday, March 27th, 2025.
