The programme, which will continue until March 2025, will see 120 trees in Cooper Park revitalised through pruning and the removal of damaged branches. Six trees will be felled and replaced in the next planting season.
In Grant Park, 74 trees will undergo similar maintenance work, with two trees scheduled for felling and replacement.

These works follow detailed surveys of the condition of the trees in both parks and are being carried out by Speyside Tree Services Ltd.
Councillor Marc Macrae, Chair of Moray Council's Chair of Moray Council Economic Development and Infrastructure Services Committee said: "This essential tree maintenance programme will not only help preserve the health and safety of the trees in both parks, but also enhance the beauty of these important community spaces.
"I would ask members of the public to respect any cordons put in place while these works are carried out, and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
