Midlothian Council has approved a draft Delivery Programme for the Midlothian Local Development Plan 2017 (MLDP).
The MLDP is a key strategy for shaping the development of Midlothian, outlining policies for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
The draft Delivery Programme, covering 2025-2027, identifies the actions needed to implement the MLDP.
A public consultation on the draft programme will be launched in early 2025, allowing residents and stakeholders to provide feedback.
It's important to note that this Delivery Programme relates to the current MLDP. A new plan, MLDP2, is currently being developed and will shape the area's future from 2026.
