Argyll and Bute Council is inviting residents of Helensburgh to share their views on plans to improve cycling and walking routes in the town.
The Helensburgh in Motion project aims to improve connections between the town centre and key destinations, including Hermitage Academy. The project is funded by the Scottish Government Places for Everyone Grant Programme.
A public consultation is now open, giving residents, businesses, and local organisations the opportunity to provide feedback on proposed improvements. You can take part in the consultation until 5 January 2025 at pagepark.co.uk/hello/helensburgh-in-motion/
Councillor John Armour, the council's Policy Lead for Roads and Transport, said: "This project demonstrates the council's commitment to improving our communities' resilience by improving accessibility for everyone and addressing the challenges of climate change through sustainable travel options. I would urge everyone affected to engage with this consultation so we can identify their needs to help shape our walking and cycling travel routes."
