Essential resurfacing work is set to cause disruption on the B851 at Scatraig, Strathnairn, south of Inverness. The project, scheduled to run from Monday 11th to Friday 15th November, will necessitate temporary traffic management measures.
To prepare the road surface, temporary traffic lights will be in operation on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th November.
From Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th November, part-day road closures will be implemented between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM. During these closures, temporary traffic lights will remain in place outside the specified hours to ensure the safety of both workers and road users.
The construction team will implement diversions to minimize disruption to traffic flow. Vehicles approaching from the B851 will be diverted onto the B861 towards Inverness. Access from the A9 will be restricted, with light vehicles diverted through Daviot and heavy goods vehicles diverted on the A9 towards Inverness.
The project is expected to improve the road surface and enhance overall road safety.
