Woodburn Road Subject To Resurfacing Works

The Woodburn Road in Dalkeith is set to close for a maximum six-week period to facilitate resurfacing works.

Midlothian Council has announced works will commence from Monday, October 28 and will result in the closure of Woodburn Road, Dalkeith from the junction with the A6106 (Newmills Road) through to Gibson Drive.

Diversions will be in place along James Lean Avenue, Gibson Drive, Salters Road, Woodburn Park, Woodburn Avenue and vice versa.

There will also be temporary diversions for buses, which will be via A6106 Lauder Road and C47 Cowden Road until it meets its usual route.

Meanwhile, pedestrian access will be maintained.
