Morrison Construction has celebrated a double victory at the annual Education Estates Awards, securing prizes for two of its recent projects.

Beatlie Campus, a specialist education facility delivered for West Lothian Council, claimed the award for Pupil/Student Experience. The school, which provides education for pupils aged 3-18, features state-of-the-art assistive technology, a hydrotherapy pool, and a sensory garden.

The National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS), a flagship research and development facility at the University of Strathclyde, was named Project of the Year – Universities. The project, which is operationally carbon neutral, has already won 18 major awards.

The Education Estates Awards recognise excellence in the design, construction, and maintenance of educational buildings. The awards are partnered by the Department for Education and are considered a major event in the sector.

Claire Jackson, Education Director for Galliford Try, commented: "Both of these projects are inspirational buildings that are truly worthy of their awards, and represent the exceptional reputation that Morrison Construction and Galliford Try have in producing high-quality educational facilities."

David Ewing, Managing Director of Morrison Construction Building Central, said: "I cannot speak highly enough of our teams and all our stakeholder partners in these two fantastic projects. Congratulations to all those involved for their well-deserved success."
