A Glasgow-based company, Richardson & Starling, has been recognised for its sustainability efforts by the Property Care Association (PCA).

The company, which provides property preservation and repair services, won the Sustainability category at the Property Care Awards. The award, sponsored by Restoration UK, recognized Richardson & Starling's commitment to becoming more ecologically, socially, and commercially responsible.

Judges praised the company for its various measures to reduce its environmental impact, including waste compaction, energy-efficient lighting and windows, and a nearly 50% reduction in carbon emissions.


In addition to the Sustainability award, Richardson & Starling was also Highly Commended in both the Training and Staff Development and Outstanding Customer Service categories.

The Property Care Awards celebrate achievements in training, staff development, and best practices within the property care industry.

PCA Chief Executive Sarah Garry hosted the event. She said: "The awards showcase the best of the best in the sector and celebrate the work of both new and long-established members as well as shining a spotlight on the rising stars of the industry.

"I congratulate Richardson & Starling on the dedication, skill and professionalism that is recognised with this award."

The Property Care Awards were presented at a special dinner following the Property Care and Structural Waterproofing Conferences hosted by the PCA at Telford International Centre.
