The National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) has announced that the Scottish Roofing Awards will return to the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow on 25 October 2024, with entries now open and tickets available to buy.
Entries are invited for the 2024 Awards in the following project categories:
• Bituminous Hot Applied Liquid Waterproofing
• Cold Applied Liquid Waterproofing
• Fully Supported Metal
• Green Roofing
• Heritage Roofing
• Leadwork
• Multi-discipline Project (over £250k)
• Rainscreen Facades
• Reinforced Bitumen Membranes
• Roof Slating
• Roof Tiling
• Sheeting & Cladding
• Single Ply Roofing
• Small Scale Project (Under £25k)
• Solar—New category for 2024!
Entries Open
Projects completed between 1 January 2023 to 31 July 2024 can now be put forward for an award, via the dedicated awards platform.
Although awards will be presented to the contractor company who undertook the work, NFRC encourages manufacturers, architects and others to enter projects nominating the contractor who undertook the work.
There is no fee to make an award entry and projects must have been completed by a roofing contractor that is a member of at least one of the following trade associations/organisations:
• FTMRC
• GRO
• LRWA
• MAC
• MCRMA
• NFRC
• SPRA
NFRC Scottish Roofing Awards 2024
The judges reward standout projects for quality workmanship, innovation, strong supply chain management and impressive responses to challenges on the project.

"The awards luncheon is always a very enjoyable occasion and I'm already looking forward to catching up with fellow contractors, suppliers and merchants at an event dedicated to recognising the brilliant work they do."
He added: "Entries are always of a very high standard and I'm excited to see the great work that's been achieved across Scotland since the last awards."
