Colleagues from Scotland's Railway met yesterday (26 June) to conduct final inspections on 75-tonne footbridge which was installed at the station in March.

The old footbridge will be removed this weekend.
The next phase of work is to upgrade the station's power supply to support the two new lifts which are set to open to the public later this summer.
Once complete, the new structure will make it easier to use the station for those with mobility difficulties, and people travelling with bicycles, pushchairs or heavy luggage.
