Scotland's Towns Partnership (STP) and Perth & Kinross Council have announced a major new event to help drive a better future for Scotland's communities.
The 2024 Scotland's Towns Conference (STC24) will welcome delegates from across Scotland to Perth Concert Hall on Wednesday, 27 November.
The theme for the day will be 'Investing in Our Assets for Sustainable Towns of the Future'.
Set against the backdrop of significant asset investment in Perth STC24 will highlight the importance of cultural, built, and natural assets in driving economic, social, and environmental progress in Scotland's towns and places.
It will also feature other inspirational examples from across the country.
The Scotland's Towns Conference is STP's flagship gathering of stakeholders from across the various sectors and organisations involved in supporting the nation's towns and places.
STP Chief Officer Kimberley Guthrie said: "The Scotland's Towns Conference is a showpiece event which never fails to inform, inspire and energise people and organisations to go on and make a tremendous difference in their own communities.
"Better, more sustainable, towns and places are key to driving positive economic, social and environmental progress across Scotland.
"I am particularly looking forward to exploring how we can further enhance that by better embracing our cultural, built and natural assets to create even more vibrant communities.
"This is a fascinating area of work, whether it be through attractions and events which encourage people to visit places and support businesses, or the transformational impact of embracing the assets we have not just to encourage more people into our places, but revitalise historic town centre buildings too."
Scotland's Towns Partnership is the voice of the nation's towns, championing their place at the heart of the nation and advocating their pivotal role in a stronger and more sustainable future. It is the parent organisation of Scotland's Improvement Districts and spearheads the Scotland Loves Local initiative as a means to boost local economies and improve places by galvanising support for the people and businesses in them.
