Arc-Tech (Scotland) has announced a series of promotions with a new appointment to their board of directors and senior management team.
Andrew Halliday originally joined the Glasgow-based business in 2022 as Commercial Manager and within six months, was promoted to the role of Commercial Director.
He has officially been appointed to the Arc-Tech (Scotland) Board of Directors and will now preside over commercial operations alongside Managing Director, John Gallacher, to support the firm's ongoing expansion across the country.
John said: "Andrew has been a major asset to Arc-Tech since joining us two years ago and his promotion is to the Board of Directors in such a short space of time is a testament to his hard work and dedication.
"We have another very busy financial year ahead and I look forward to working with him as we plot a course for the future of the company alongside our much-valued technical teams and contracts staff."
Arc-Tech's second promotion is the appointment of Stephen Kane to the role of Operations Manager.
Stephen, formerly a Senior Project Manager, has been with Arc-Tech for just over a year.
Stephens's day-to-day role will be to support site-based operations across Arc-Techs Industrial / Commercial Mechanical and Electrical installations.
John added: "Stephen brings a wealth of experience to the OM role; it is a significant title within our business as it covers the extent of our contracts activities across the country but I have every confidence in him, as will all of our staff.
"On behalf of the entire Arc-Tech team, I wish both Andrew and Stephen the very best in the months and years ahead."
Arc-Tech was formed in 2016 and has since grown to employ 100 staff – including 13 trade apprentices – as well as generating an annual turnover of £27m.
Their activities across the Scottish construction industry have seen them work with some of the country's largest and well-known contractors, whilst their recent involvement in new housebuilding has seen them position themselves as a sector leader in the installation of non-gas energy systems and fire suppression strategies.
