SGN has welcomed the recognition of staff members who have been nominated for prestigious CCA Excellent Awards.
As well as nominations for Most Effective Customer Vulnerability Strategy and Best CX Transformation – Inhouse Technology Solution, four SGN team members have been nominated for the CCA Women in Leadership Awards 2024.
Julie Reid, Senior Customer Experience Manager, has been nominated in the Inspiring Leader category. Meanwhile, Senior Customer Service Manager Jenny Breckenridge, Group Social Impact and Vulnerability Manager Kerry Potter and Scotland Vulnerability Manager Linda Spence all appear in the Emerging Leader category.
CCA is the leading authority on customer contact strategies and operations, and their Excellence Awards recognise world-class professional achievement in customer service, judged by a panel of experts from a range of sectors and specialisms. The Women in Leadership Awards aim to promote diversity and recognise the exceptional achievements of female leaders in the customer service sector, while acknowledging emerging, inspiring and accomplished leaders at all stages in their careers.
Maureen McIntosh, Director of Customer Service at SGN, said: "I'm completely thrilled that four amazing women in my team have been shortlisted for a Women in Leadership Award. Julie, Jenny, Kerry and Linda are all extremely talented women who are a real credit to SGN."
"I'd like to say a huge thank you to each of them for all their hard work in making a real impact on how we support and help our customers. To have even one woman in my team shortlisted would have been wonderful, but it's just fantastic that all four of them are receiving this deserved recognition.."
Anne Marie Forsyth, CCA Chief Executive, said: "Congratulations to everyone shortlisted for this year's Excellence Awards which truly represent the best in customer service. Businesses in the CCA network continue to work tirelessly to ensure they continue to provide the best service possible for customers.
"Many lessons have been learned as we work through challenging times, increased vulnerability and employee wellbeing issues. It is a real privilege to discover the approaches taken to safeguard excellent practices, supporting customers and employees with a common agenda of continual improvement."
The winners will be announced at the CCA Gala Dinner and Excellence Awards Ceremony in Glasgow on 25 April 2024.
