Clark Contracts has announced that is has secured new orders worth £60 million, marking a record start to 2024.
The new orders include the construction of three new bonded warehouses, the refurbishment of a train simulator suite in Inverness, two office fit outs in Edinburgh City Centre, an office refurbishment in Dundee and the fit out of a hospitality suite in Glasgow.
The contractor has also been awarded a £7m contract from Waverley Housing, for the design and build of 25 housing units in Langlee, Galashiels.
Further awards, include a £2m contract from Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park to complete the 1st phase of an overall masterplan to improve the Tarbet Visitor Centre site and a major contract for the development of a 155-bed student accommodation in Edinburgh.
A number of contracts have also been awarded from repeat customers, including two research laboratory refurbishments for the University of Glasgow, the refurbishment of a medical centre and medical student accommodation for NHS Ayrshire & Arran, and alterations within the SNBTS Blood Donation Centre in Foresterhill, Aberdeen.
Also in Aberdeen, Clark Contracts will be delivering the design and build of the new 65-bed Pitfodels Care Home for care provider, Meallmore.
In addition to these projects, Clark Contracts has been appointed to two new frameworks run by Prosper, for Passive Fire Safety works and Decarbonisation Retrofit projects which will operate for the next 4 years.
