South Lanarkshire Council has launched a public consultation on major plans to radically transform Hamilton Town Centre.
The masterplan for the town centre includes the repurposing of some areas, the introduction of residential properties and new retail opportunities.
An online consultation is now open and will run for six weeks.
In addition to the online consultation, council staff will be at various locations over the next few weeks to answer questions about the project.
Staff will be based at the former Quiz Unit in the Regent Shopping Centre from Tuesday 19 March to Saturday 23 March.
They will also be at the same location from Monday 25 March to Wednesday 27 March.
On Thursday 28 March, they will be at the Asda in Palace Grounds.
From Tuesday 2 April to Thursday 4 April, it will be back at the Regent Centre, before going back to Asda on Friday 5 April.
The final day of face-to-face consultation will take place back at the Quiz unit in the Regent Centre on Saturday 6 April.
Council Leader Joe Fagan said: "This is a bold and exciting proposal that would totally transform the look and atmosphere of Hamilton town centre.
"One of the most important parts of this project is finding out what local residents and visitors to the town centre think of these proposals, so please take time to complete the online survey or visit the team at one of the face-to-face consultation locations.
"The development of the masterplan is a unique opportunity to deliver transformational change to the town centre.
"This approach is consistent with that being proposed across the country and I believe it is key to revitalising the whole town centre area."
