Two projects in Scotland have been named among the winners of the inaugural ICW Showcase Awards.
The first winners from across the UK construction sector by building warranty and building control provider ICW Group.
The awards, which identify and reward excellence in projects being developed by ICW registered builders and developers, unveiled an impressive level of build quality across the region.
Alongside the two Scottish winners – Clyde Valley Housing Association and Lanark Student Living – there were four winners for developments based in the Midlands, four in the South West, two in the South East, two in the North of England, one in London, three in Wales, and seven in Northern Ireland. Meanwhile, Rogers Construction took the House of the Year Award for its development at Riverside Park in Newcastle, County Down.
The awards are spread across four different categories across eight regions in the competition including Small, which covers projects with 1-50 residential units; Medium, which covers projects with between 51- 250 units; Large, which covers projects with more than 250 units; and High Rise, covering major projects with a reinstatement value in excess of £20 million. Nominations were also open for the House of the Year category, as well as the Innovation award for sites which make best use of a unique design, best use of technology and best use of modern methods of construction.
