Members of the Scottish Plant Owners Association (SPOA) came together earlier this month at its annual dinner and raised £5,000 for the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity.
The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to members of the construction community and their families.
John Sibbald, President of the SPOA, was delighted to see the Annual Dinner so well attended and the generosity of members in supporting the chosen charity: "The dinner was a real success. x guests from across the industry came together to enjoy good company, great food and excellent entertainment. Comedian Des Clarke did not disappoint as the compère and entertainment for the evening, and guests were delighted that the SPOA’s ‘Machine on a mission’ - the Police Scotland livered JCB 3CX, generously loaned by Scot JCB, had made a pitstop at the Glasgow Hilton.
