CCG Group's planned maintenance division, CCG Asset Management, has announced the successful completion of a third phase of kitchen upgrades for tenants of East Lothian Council in Musselburgh, Tranent, Haddington, Prestonpans and North Berwick.
The £965,000 works package involved the replacement of cabinets and worktops as well as associated decorative and electrical upgrades to 229 households.
The third of three phases procured via the SPA (Scottish Procurement Alliance), over 361 households have benefitted from the planned maintenance workstream since 2021.
Jim Cunningham, Divisional Manager of Asset Management said:
"We are delighted to have completed the third phase of this large-scale planned maintenance contract and thank East Lothian Council for their continued support over the last 3 years.
"Quality of workmanship, speed and efficiency are key drivers to undertaking works of this nature with minimal intrusion on the occupier and our teams, including our site staff and dedicated Tenant Liaison Officers, worked ever so well over the course of the programme and I thank them for their efforts.
"We look forward to working with East Lothian Council again in the near future."
Andrew McGregor, Team Leader of Planned Works from East Lothian Council added:
"Thanks to CCG for the past 3 years assisting our in-house resource in delivering new kitchens to the tenants of East Lothian Council.
We enjoy a good working relationship with Jim and his team and appreciate the time and effort they put into delivering these works for us."
Lesley Anderson, Regional Director of SPA, said: "It's hugely rewarding to see the successful completion of this three-year project, which has now provided more than 361 households with new and upgraded kitchen facilities.
"Our strong partnership with CCG, which has been built on years of collaboration and trust, has been integral in delivering this project on time and on budget. SPA's procurement solutions give public sector organisations access to expert suppliers capable of supporting the delivery of vital community projects in a timely and compliant manner, while achieving best value.
"These solutions offer invaluable support and guidance on technical aspects, social value, and best practice procurement free of charge. It's projects like these that really showcase the true value of using SPA procurement solutions to simplify the process, and achieve positive outcomes for local communities."
