CCG Group has announced the successful completion of the the first phase of a major window & door replacement contract on behalf of Rosehill Housing Co-operative in south Glasgow.
Set to be undertaken over a 2-year workstream, 181 homes in Pollok will receive new PVCu windows and composite door sets that are supplied and fitted entirely by CCG's in-house divisions.
PVCu is a form of thermoplastic and is a highly durable material that significantly reduces deterioration and colour fading. It is also not exposed to dry rot which means longer-term maintenance costs are drastically lowered over their 40-year lifespan.
The products are fabricated in CCG's bespoke premises in Cambuslang as a result of a partnership with REHAU UK, a leading polymer supplier, and are being installed by the firm's planned maintenance division, Asset Management which supported the co-operative's recent family fun day hosted in the community in the summer.
Geri Mogan, Director of Rosehill Housing Co-operative said: "We are delighted to be working with CCG delivering new windows and doors to some of our oldest properties. These replacement windows will aid the energy efficiency of these homes for our tenants along with minimising our ongoing maintenance costs."
Jim Cunningham, Divisional Manager of Asset Management said:
"CCG's integrated expertise has been a key driver to the successful delivery of this contract. Our full supply and fit service, developed in partnership with REHAU, offers clients such as Rosehill Housing Co-operative a single chain of responsibility which ensures high-quality workmanship and customer service at every stage of the programme.
"Our works to date have been undertaken with to a high standard of finish with minimal impact on tenants and we look forward to commencing the next phase of work in the early stages of next year."
Samsara McDonald, Commercial Sales Manager from REHAU UK said: "A strong supply chain is key to delivering high-quality installations, which is why we are proud to be working with CCG on this project. Our thermally efficient, secure, and unparalleled performance in PVCu products will provide Rosehill Housing Co-operative with outstanding windows and doors that require minimal maintenance for years to come. REHAU's four pillars of Trust, Reliability, Innovation and Sustainability go hand in hand with CCG and is testament to the successful working partnership.
"We look forward to working with CCG and Asset Management on this project, ensuring a seamless installation that provides the excellent windows and doors for the co-operative and its tenants."
