The Wee House Company has been named as a double winner at the prestigious 2023 Herald Property Awards.
The Herald Property Awards celebrate excellence, ingenuity and achievements within the construction and real estate sectors and is one of the most significant events in Scotland's property calendar.
Beating off tough competition, The Wee House Company was crowned 'Property Team of the year' in recognition of its innovative product and exceptional service.
The specialist modular home builder also received a 'Highly Commended' accolade in the Best Family Home (Large) category for Caldwell View. The 4 bedroom bespoke home is complete with open plan kitchen-dining-living area, office, utility room, multiple bathrooms, wood burning stove and vaulted ceilings. At 215 sq m, the monumental build is the home-builder's 'biggest wee house yet' and is almost 9 times the size of a studio Wee House.
Acting CEO of The Wee House Company, Richard Reid said: “We are thrilled to have been honoured at the 2023 Herald Property Awards. With 130 entries whittled down to 54 finalists, it was an achievement in itself just to be shortlisted.
"To have won 'Property Team of the Year' is fantastic and shines a spotlight on the extraordinary work of our dedicated team. We pride ourselves on our exemplary customer service and this award serves as a major endorsement of our efforts.
"We are equally delighted to receive recognition in the best large family home award. Since we are originally known for compact properties for customers in remote locations, it is extra special for us to have been highlighted in this category. This accolade demonstrates our flexibility as a homebuilder, and indeed the flexibility of the modular construction method."
