Edison Group has added Linlithgow-based Cabin Scotland Limited to its portfolio of companies in an all-cash transaction.
Calum Melville, CEO of Edison Group said: "Cabin Scotland offers a full design and build service for residential and non-residential cabins anywhere in Scotland and produces garden rooms, Scandinavian-style cabins, and glamping pods as well as bespoke wooden structures and joinery manufacturing.
"Its operation, into which we plan to create capacity to manufacture up to 200 cabins annually, is complementary to our existing offering, giving our clients one provider for build and design, home extension, garage build, garage fit outs, driveways, landscaping, fencing, artificial grass, patios, garden rooms, gates…..the list goes on.
"Edison Group is now, I believe, the only genuinely integrated provider in Scotland."
The business, which employs over 100 people and is set to see turnover on a rolling twelve-month basis hit £50 million by December 2023, recently opened its new head office in High Street, Irvine.
Mr Melville continued: "We remain firmly in the market to acquire businesses that are complementary to our group activities and continue to invest substantial sums to build an infrastructure and platform to drive growth over the next few years.
"Our consistently expanding capability includes construction as main contractor, project management, architectural services, bespoke joinery, furniture manufacture, interior design, interior fit out, all trades, driveways, landscaping, property maintenance and refurbishment."
