BEAR Scotland Supporting Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2023

Construction News Image
BEAR Scotland has announced its support for Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2023, highlighting the positive impact work-based learning has on young people as well as businesses, and the local and national economy.

This year's theme is 'Unlocking Potential', with the aim of showcasing what individuals and employers can achieve through apprenticeships. By unlocking potential and providing the skills employers want, apprenticeships support sustained employment, upskilling and a productive economy. At BEAR, we are currently training twelve apprentices. We offer opportunities for Modern and Graduate apprentices, working with colleges and universities such as Edinburgh College, Abertay University and Napier University. Our apprentices join over 43,000 apprentices and 12,000 businesses benefitting from opportunities across the country.

The mentors we put it place can help our apprentices realise their potential and it also benefits BEAR, as we are developing a workforce that supports the skills we need for the future of the company."
